How to manage expenditure categories?

You can view all categories via the menu VAT Returns – Expenditure categories. You can also add custom categories. Each category is defined by:

  • The name, which you can enter freely

  • The main category, which determines the grouping of different cost types

  • The cost type, which defines the specific category and applicable percentages

  • VAT deductibility, which is crucial for the VAT return

  • Professional use, which is crucial for the VAT return
