In this section of the Billit website, you will find manuals and explanations about all the features in Billit. You can find help articles using the search function or through the menu structure on the left which follows the menu-structure in Billit.
The ‘Projects’ module in Billit gives you a better overview of your work and makes it easy to track the budget spent and hours worked for each project. You can also easily register and invoice hours worked from within a project.
Go to the platform and click ‘Projects’ in the left-hand column.
Click the ‘Create a project’ button at the top right.
Specify which stage the project is in: ‘Prospect’, ‘In progress’, ‘Finished’, or ‘Cancelled’.
Enter the project details. Only the project name is required, all other details are optional:
Project name
Customer
Reference
Project duration: the current date is set as the start date by default
Note
Budget: the total projected budget for the project in euros
Time budget: the anticipated number of hours to be worked on the project
Hourly rate: the standard rate for the hours you spend on this project
Click ‘Save’ at the bottom. You can edit the data later.
You are now taken to the project sheet. This is where, as you work on the project, you will get a progress summary and an overview of the time registrations, incomes, and expenses you allocate to the project.
